An esteemed, market-leading wealth and fund management organisation headquartered in London is in search of a dedicated Head of AI & RPA to spearhead their technological advancements. Our client is embarking on an ambitious technology-driven roadmap aimed at enhancing operational capabilities, including implementing a cutting-edge fund administration platform and seamlessly integrating new tools such as Automation Anywhere or Prism to augment existing platforms. The focus areas encompass automating transaction feeds, streamlining reconciliations, and enhancing bespoke reporting functionalities.

This pivotal role has been created to lead Intelligent Automation efforts within the funds service line. The Head of AI & RPA will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives to leverage intelligent automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize fund administration processes. This includes identifying automation opportunities, designing solutions, overseeing implementation, and continuously refining processes to drive efficiency and innovation.

Key accountabilities include developing and implementing an Intelligent Automation Strategy, overseeing project management from inception to completion, actively identifying processes suitable for automation and assessing their feasibility and benefits, ensuring delivery on targeted automation benefits including automated FTE & risk benefits, managing outsourced automation resources, ensuring quality assurance standards, maintaining open communication with stakeholders, including senior management, reporting progress and benefits of automation initiatives, and identifying potential risks associated with automation and developing mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with Automation Anywhere or Prism (key automation tool partner) including development experience, experience managing development teams, strong ability to analyse and map 'as is' & 'to be' processes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in the principals of Robotic Process Automation(RPA), continuous learning ability to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, experience in managing large cross-functional projects. Additionally, candidates should be university-educated or have IT-related qualifications, have experience working within a financial services environment, possess analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
