Our client is a well-established recognised retail organisation with extensive expansion plans. The client is now looking for a passionate Senior Desktop Engineer professional to join their team to provide infrastructure support to their business.

We are looking for an experience IT professional who can support our client current desktop Infrastructure and core equipment including the management of end users, customers, and internal support.

• Service Desk or Support Team providing direct support to customers

• Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls.

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, fax machines, scanners, copiers and audio/visual equipment (cisco/webex)

• Proven experience administering: Azure, MS Winsdows 10/11, Office 365

• Strong skills managing Active Directory (Users, contacts, permissions, groups...)

• Experience with management systems SCCM/MDT and MDM (XenMobile, Airwatch, MobileIron)

• Security Services - Trend Micro/EPO/WSUS/Secunia/VPN

• Experience with Dell/Lenovo/HP/Apple hardware

• Expected to be familiar with all corporate processes and policies.

The infrastructure is complex, and they are currently running a variety of technologies. This is role a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their technical skill set and can work with variety of technologies. Any team leadership would give you a distinct advantage but not totally essential!
