Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of credit acquisition strategies across both secured and unsecured products.
  • Manage and optimise credit decisioning rules and scorecard performance within decision platforms (e.g., Provenir, GDS, Modellica).

  • Ensure underwriting standards and credit policies are followed across all lending channels.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, including mentoring junior team members.

  • 4+ years' experience in credit risk management, ideally within retail banking or fintech.
  • Proven background in credit strategy development, scorecard monitoring, and risk-based pricing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python (or R/SAS) for analysis and modelling.
  • Knowledge of IFRS9, CONC, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn data into strategic insight.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
