Join The Law Society

We are currently looking for talented individuals with experience in digital transformation to join The Law Society in their London headquarters.

Who are The Law Society

The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors. We exist to represent our members, drive excellence in the profession and safeguard the rule of law.

We support solicitors by offering practice advice and guidance so that they can better serve their clients. We also advise the public on how and when to seek legal advice, and promote solicitors as reliable experts who can offer invaluable help at important moments in life. Our campaigns and lobbying target pressing legal issues like court closures and legal aid cuts.

We employ over 400 people; the majority in London but also in the Midlands, Wales and Brussels. Our headquarters at 113 Chancery Lane have been at the centre of the legal world since 1832.

Shaping our Future

While we are proud of our rich history, we are conscious of the need to stay current in the way we work and respond to our members’ needs.

In 2017 we embarked on an ambitious transformation programme titled ‘Shaping our Future’. We want to create a seamless, personalised experience for our members, no matter how, when or where they interact with us. To do that, we need to improve our offer and the way we deliver it – unlocking both the potential of our business and the expertise of our people.

Our Member Experience Transformation and WorkSmart Programmes are all about improving how we do this job, how we engage our membership and how easy and seamless it is for our members and staff to interact with us in a truly agile way.

We are seeking talented individuals with experience in digital transformation to help us achieve these goals. This project presents an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the services we provide and how we work to provide them. We are looking for people who will thrive in a challenging, digital, agile environment.
