We are retained by a large UK pension provider currently undergoing an exciting transformation. With a strong focus on customer experience, they are seeking a Director of Risk to join their leadership team and help shape the next chapter of their journey.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this pivotal role will be responsible for embedding and evolving the enterprise risk framework — ensuring the organisation delivers the best possible outcomes for its members, whether they’re saving for the first time, preparing for retirement, or managing their pension independently.

What you’ll bring

A proven track record in senior risk leadership roles, ideally within financial services, asset management, or banking
Exceptional ability to develop, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
Deep knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and collaborate across the business
A forward-thinking, solutions-oriented approach to risk that enables innovation rather than restricts it
A strong sense of purpose and passion for delivering positive outcomes for customers
