Transformation Operational Risk Manager - Challenger Bank - £90,000
InterQuest are delighted to be supporting a large Challenger Bank who are looking for a Transformation Operational Risk Manager to join them due to exponential growth. This role is a primary second line of defence risk representation within the leadership team of a multi-year transformational programme, and you would be responsible for modernising, optimising, and building a control environment across core operational and back-office functions.
You would also be responsible for:
* Using subject-matter expertise to shape change initiatives and achieve optimised risk mitigation benefits. Implementing a robust methodology for tracking & reporting target and delivered risk benefits through programme implementation.
* Engaging with process owners regarding improvements to processes, risks & controls, where relevant to enable to successful programme delivery and objectives.
* Supporting business risk owners and the programme change teams to identify and asset the impact of the programmes changes on business operational risk profiles.
* Ensuring teams are managing risk exposures through the cycle, escalating relevant risk exposures relative to the risk appetite.
