We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to join a high-performing IT team within an oustanding organisation. As Test Manager, you will be hands-on and responsible for the end to end testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Your role will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, designing test strategies, managing test plans, and driving continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
- Conduct Manual and Automated testing on APIs and websites.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of testing objectives and requirements.
- Define and prioritize test cases, test scenarios, and test data to ensure maximum coverage and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and allocate testing resources, ensuring efficient utilization of skills and capacity.
- Monitor and track testing progress, identifying and resolving issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Review and analyze test results, providing insightful reports to stakeholders and management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to software testing.
- Promote a culture of quality and collaboration within the testing team and across the organization.
- Proven experience in a Test Manager or Analyst role, preferably in an Agile development environment working with back end systems.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- SQL database experience.
- Experience or knowledge of Dynamics365.
- Solid knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems including Azure DevOps.
- Ability to write automation scripts for APIs, SOAP, XML, RESTFUL, etc.
- Proficient in analyzing complex requirements and designing comprehensive test strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
