InterQuest are hiring for a Technical Business Analyst to join our leading Travel and Leisure client based in West Sussex.

This role can be predominantly home workig with occasional office visits once per week or once per fortnight.

Reporting to the BA Team Lead, you will be responsible to fill the gap between business and technology and to liaise with the Solution Centre teams to ensure they deliver the required solutions for the business.

Primary duties include researching business processes, making reports with recommendations to businesses management and analysing the potential impact of their recommendations. This is a key role joining the Solution Centre team to drive forward a pipeline and technology backlog with a keen focus on supporting the throughput of the Solution Centre team.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

● A minimum of 2 Years in similar role
● Experience working within a multi skilled agile development team
● Experience as some sort of developer earlier in your career would be a huge benefit
● Experience of work stream management using JIRA
● Able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport and engagement with key stakeholders across the entire business and support business transformation and change alongside the delivery of new innovations
● Pragmatic approach to work ensuring that clear work items and acceptance criteria are produced
● Ability to manage multiple stories
● Agile/Scrum methodology experience
● Excellent research and analytical skills
● Business process understanding and knowledge of relevant business management principles
● Planning and organisation skills
● Confidence to challenge and be challenged in a fast paced environment
● In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques
● Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The role/responsibilities:-

Working within the Solution Centre team and to work with the Business Product Owners

● Develop relationships across multiple areas of the business and the IS department
● Analyse business structures to determine how it operates and determine its objectives
● Identify any problems with the current business model
● Design potential solutions to any problems identified during the research phase
● Gather and write requirements and specifications from a number of stakeholders, challenging working processes to ensure requirement and solutions make best use of technology and offer efficiencies
● Develop comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels
● Conduct meetings with system users and managers to gather requirements and acceptance criteria
● Help build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business
● Oversee the implementation of approved process improvements
● Help plan and run workshops
● Create qualified stories of work based on Solution Centre backlog, RFCs and bugreports
● Prepare work for developers to take into sprints ensuring inclusion of clear acceptance criteria and clear description of work requirements
● Work closely with the development teams to maximise the efficiency of development with the creation of work items
● Support Agile software development teams in a fast paced environment
● Join as a member of a multiple disciplined team working an Agile software delivery method and take a key role to support and drive them forward
● Contribute to retrospective meetings to help maximise team efficiency
● Carrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams
● Carrying out periodic quality checks
