Unique opportunity for a Tech Lead to join a web3 art marketplace in Manchester that's about to go from start-up to scale-up.
The business enables artists and collectors to create/buy/resell NFTs and was recently acquired by eBay to help take NFTs to the masses.
Their product engineering team is now operating as an R&D division responsible for building out eBay's web3 strategy (including creating a brand new ecommerce platform) which means they're able to offer the all the freedom to innovate that you only really get at a start-up, plus all the support and benefits of a major corporate.
The existing group are very open minded and they work as multidisciplinary product engineering squads (Dev, Product, UX) who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics so you'd be working alongside people that are passionate about using practices like TDD and Pair Programming in an autonomous DevOps environment.
As a Tech Lead, you'd be hands-on in leading a squad of Software Engineers and would become part of the founding team of the business, responsible for playing a key role in shaping their culture and product engineering capabilities as they scale from 3 squads to 9 and beyond.
* TypeScript (Node, React, Vue)
The money is good too - up to £85k plus benefits including company shares, annual bonus, pension, private medical/dental plus plenty more including regular flexible/remote working.
