Contract Solutions Architect required for key project of work with this well-known top 4 employer

Required is an Digital aligned Contract Solutions Architect for innovation projects focused around customer journey and additional Digital tools that could improve customer experience.

Role: Solution Architect

Location: Bradford

Duration: 3 months+ (12month project)

Rate: £

Start: ASAP

As a Solution Architect, you will have:

* Experience in working on large-scale, distributed architectures
* Proven track record of taking responsibility for architectural decisions and assurance across complex changes
* Experience working with mixed and distributed teams
* Ability to understand code in at least two major languages ie Java, Javascript with ability to practically apply computing fundamentals
* Retail and or Manufacturing Industry experience is a plus
* Possessing a technical background, as a Solution Architect, in most of the tech listed below
* Digitally aligned
* Innovation experience - your experience includes regularly network with your peers and use this breadth to choose the right solution - also looks forward to the future in relation to technology solutions and advancement
* Cloud expertise

In addition, y ou live and breathe service-oriented architecture and understand how to decompose a

complex problem into a set of services; have a strong problem solving ability, and domain modeling skills; great at connecting with your colleagues and helping build consensus around

your ideas; have experience creating great user platforms or in building well designed and scalable REST based services

* You understand the value of simplicity and how to evolve ageing software platforms and you're still hands on and not afraid to trial new frameworks and tools
* You understand what it means to be agile and you are your best in that environment; passionate about creating software right. You understand the value of techniques like continuous integration and know how to implement it
* You will be seen as a technical leader amongst your colleagues. They look up to you and you provide them with guidance on complex system problems
* You keep yourself current with technology and architecture patterns. You regularly network with your peers and use this breadth to choose the right solution - also looks forward to the future in relation to technology solutions and advancement
* You have good documentation skills and can clearly and concisely articulate your solutions.

Main Responsibilities include

* Deliver simple, high quality solutions that drive our technical landscape towards our strategy of an agile, flexible estate that can quickly react to changes in our market.
* Be customer focused - aligning technical direction to bringing value to our customers through the use of technology
* Develop simple, flexible, secure and cost-effective solutions which are aligned to our strategy
* Provide the technical leadership and consistency to our delivery teams. Working closely with the teams to ensure we deliver the right solution
* Own the solution architecture for the full lifecycle of the product or service, providing assurance, technical guidance and supporting the success of that asset
* Work closely with colleagues across the business to identify requirements early that drive a change in the overall architecture for a solution
