Software License Manager - Chertsey, Surrey - Permanent up to £60k base + Strong Bonus & Benefits

We require an experienced Software Licensing Manager to work with the countries and licensing teams to manage and report the use of core Software licenses = predominant Microsoft and SAP, implement a process to ensures projects and countries have the correct license entitlement in line with usage and provide guidance and assistance to the country teams on availability and cost of licenses.

The license usage is broken into 3 areas: Microsoft. Cloud licenses including O365 and On-premise licences including SQL / SAP on-premise and Cloud based licences including SuccessFactors / and a range of other products including Oracle and Security software.

This is a relatively Greenfield role currently provided by a software reseller. The role of the reseller will need to be redefined and managed by the Software Licence manager.

You'll be responsible for the overview of the License management process. This involves the collection, consolidation and analysis of License usage from each country and the production of monthly reports for distribution and discussion with IS&T and Business leadership. Maintain license usage database. Manage and reconcile under or over license positions with countries and business units and manage the daily requests for New software.

You must have previous experience of working in License management within a global enterprise along with a strong Understanding of Microsoft and SAP licenses. Experience of dealing with software audits and producing license compliance reports along with commercial awareness and procurement knowledge of Software asset management tools. Understand of the role Software resellers provide in License management.
