An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Service Delivery Manager to join our thriving Digital Consultancy. You will be working within a very large team, helping with one of largest digital transformations in the UK. The client is offering varied and challenging environment with the opportunity to add and grow their UK operations.

Service Delivery Manager will take responsibility to align technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. You will ensure that the large vendor team deliver services to the agreed service level targets. This individual will maintain existing enterprise DevOps environments, whilst providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values.

You will take responsibility for the Service Transition impact assessment and planning for operational readiness, ensuring the integrity of the live environment is protected and that new/changed services can be supported by IT through identification and completion of readiness requirements. You will lead, operate, manage, and provide support for a range of our live operational digital services. You'll be part of a diverse, high performing team of professionals that manage world class solutions across a varied range of industries and sectors built on variety of open source and proprietary technologies to genuinely make a difference to people's lives.

The crux of the role is to ensure that there is a clear understanding of business requirements and priorities ensuring appropriate IT solutions are identified & delivered in an expedient manner. You will be responsible for the end-to-end support of live operational, cloud based digital services and deliver continual service improvements by applying collaborative, cross-domain 'DevOps' ways of working, enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to the services.

You will define and own the IT Mission, formulate and deploy short, medium and long-term strategic IT Plans that align the IT business model with business needs of their clients. A pre-requisite is the ability to communicate & present effectively to executive stakeholders. You'll be a strong influencer, able to get buy in from stakeholders & subordinates alike.

You'll have demonstrable experience of Service Desk Management, Service transition, Transformation & Project Management, ITIL (foundation or practitioner certified) & expertise in a large End User Service delivery environments and industry best practice in process, controls, tools, standards and methods within IT Infrastructure/ DevOps Operations. Any experience working for a Government agency would give you a distinct advantage!
