The Bank

The role
A recent restructure has bought the procurement and supply chain together within the same department. This is a very exciting opportunity for an innovative supply chain specialist to help shape the supplier life cycle.
The senior supply chain manager will work strategically, by establishing relationships with the leadership team to ensure that procurement is aligned, by building one single end to end supply chain service.
The role will report to the head of supply chain services and will be responsible for leading a team of six professionals.

Required experience and skills
- Several years of financial services experience (ideally from working in a large dynamic environment)
- Experience of building supply chain structure from the ground the up, through to delivery
- Vast category management, contract management and supplier management experience
- Expertise in end to end Third Party lifecycle within financial services and FCA, PRA & EBA regulations/guidelines on outsourcing
- Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings, performance efficiencies and risk mitigation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement & supplier management best practice tools, processes and systems.
- Ability to coach, develop and lead direct and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in collating and analysing data

Qualification
- Degree level - CIPS related qualification or equivalent
