Senior SQL Server DBA

We are thrilled to announce a time-sensitive opportunity within a prominent financial services organisation. We are actively seeking a dynamic Senior SQL DBA to join our exceptionally talented technology division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a high-profile position, collaborating with various teams, including business, IT, Technical Architects, project/programme managers, BI team, and automation teams. Building strong relationships with clients and taking ownership of complex infrastructure projects will be key responsibilities.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS, demonstrating exceptional knowledge.
• Expertise in data mapping between APIs and System Databases.
• Strong skills in Database Design, Management, Data Integrity, and Data Cleansing.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
• Clear understanding of web services and SOA-related standards, with proficiency in REST, OData, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL.

Additional Information:

• The successful candidate will be involved in overseeing multiple projects scheduled for implementation in the next few years.
• This role will actively contribute to shaping the data warehouse strategy for the business.

Base Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role.
• University-educated or possess IT-related qualifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage with non-IT staff at all levels.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ideally, experience working within a financial services environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
