Senior Sales Professional - AI ITSM Solutions - London - up to £100k + OTE & Benefits

Position Summary

As a Senior Sales Professional (New Business Hunter) you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

You will collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue and expand their market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, customers, and industry segments.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and tactics.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to potential clients, understanding their business challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Foster partnerships and alliances that enhance market position.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Qualify and prioritize opportunities to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to product teams to inform product development and innovation.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess progress against targets and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the technology or SaaS industry, specifically ServiceNow, ITSM & ESM.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and business growth objectives.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Team player with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
