My client is a leading global Investment Management business looking to hire a highly analytical Senior QA Engineer, working in the Quant Modelling & Analytics product team, responsible for developing and enhancing the current infrastructure of pricing models used in valuing OTC Derivatives, bonds and ETDs, and constructive curves for downstream systems. The incumbent would work in one of several development teams using Agile methods and the latest .Net technology, working closely with the business and be involved in all aspects of the secure systems development lifecycle (S-SDLC) across different business areas.

The Senior QA Engineer will be expected to:

* Assess and recommend QA strategy based on functional and non-functional requirements.
* Implement test automation strategy to reduce manual testing and improve test coverage.
* Write clear and concise tests, recognising the need to address technical debt.
* Present information concisely to individuals within and outside of the technology function.
* Contribute to defining and maintaining the agreed quality standards of the pricing library and manage the release of the new versions in the library.

The successful Senior QA Engineer will possess:

* Comfortable working with large complex data sets and figures.
* Experience of testing systems where numbers are the core outputs.
* Proven ability to build test automation frameworks and setting up test harnesses.
* Familiarity working in Agile teams performing iterative development.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Octopus/TeamCity/Artifactory.
* Have a constant desire to improve knowledge and drive adoption of new technical approaches.
* Experience triaging production issues and supporting the mitigation or remediation.

The role will be a hybrid split of WFH twice per week and office based (central London), three times a week.
