Our client is a Global organisation embarking on large scale change and growth. They are based in near St Pancras Station and are urgently seeking an exemplary, intelligent and pragmatic leader to come on board in the post of Senior Project Manager Lead. This is a Lead role which will come with its fair share of pressure yet autonomy. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects to drive forward the success of the Group strategy and related business plans, in conjunction with the Technology strategy.

The Senior Project Manager Lead should have a proven track record of successfully implementing IT Project management experience with exposure to integrated application delivery as well as infrastructure delivery (where required) demonstrated by a successful track record of managing complex IT/Change projects. We are looking for an experienced Transformation and Change expert who has strong stakeholder management skills. The role will require someone from a large transactional environment. You will be successful for planning and the delivery of projects with a majority concentration on IT, on time, to budget, to quality standards and responsible for detailed project planning and related governance.

The Senior Project Manager Lead will ensure delivery of requested outcomes from technical platform migrations and software development projects using a robust and documented project method. In conjunction with Commercial Operations, analyse, manage and govern resources to deliver projects on time, on budget and take direct responsibility to negotiate change control revenues and effective communication of project progress. You will deliver Project Management services across a range of projects, the majority of which will be external facing work across their sites. Experience of working within a fast-moving, changeable environment with new technology/products and working practices

The Project Manager Lead will sit within the IT department and head up a number of large scale projects and programmes. We are looking for well versed and even perhaps academic Project Management Leads who have exposure in Infrastructure, Change, Software Development and Application as you will essentially almost be steering and overseeing all IT Projects. This is an exciting time to join and the right candidate will be tenacious but well thought out, have charm and dynamism to execute the projects and a proven track record in successful delivering a number of varying IT projects and programmes across a variety of sectors.

The crux of the role is to ensure that there is a clear understanding of business requirements and priorities ensuring appropriate IT solutions are identified & delivered in an expedient manner. You will define and own the IT Mission, formulate and deploy short, medium and long-term strategic IT Plans that align the Global IT business strategy/ model with business needs of the organisation.

Furthermore the ideal Project Manager Lead must have a strong knowledge of delivering and setting up Agile environments. Any formal project management qualification such as Scrum, APM, Prince2, MSP, PMP will give you a distinct advantage but is not essential.

A pre-requisite is the ability to consult with and gain the support of the key stakeholders, in particular department heads across all Divisions. You'll be a good influencer, able to get buy in from stakeholders & subordinates alike.
