IQ Talent Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Product Manager for one of our most prestigious clients who are a global industry leader in the software sector. The role is based in Central London where there is a hybrid working policy in place. The role will pay a competitive basic salary, bonus, industry leading benefits and car allowance.
The Senior Product Manager will act as the expert in the workspace field.
You will define the business opportunities for the workspace solution category based on deep understanding of the target customers, partner and market insights and translates these into winning value propositions including overseeing its execution for the entire portfolio of digital workspace products and services.
What is expected of the Senior Product Manager?
- Product management activities for the assigned products and services, represents the workspace portfolio and promotes the portfolio by advocating for its value and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, online consumer platforms, analyst forums and so forth.
- Oversee the creation of solution specific content assets that will be used across the buyer and sales journey. Oversee the internal resources and external agencies tasked with creating effective content for websites, campaigns, and sales enablement.
- Initiate or manage relevant strategic partnerships as needed
- Ensure the solution is serviced in a high-quality fashion, coordinate customer service scripts, support tools, customer onboarding processes and training.
- Sales adoption and enablement. Monitor solution adoption and use upon release to determine which solutions/features/functionality would enhance future versions.
- Develop, own, shape our client’s workspace products and services roadmaps, based on market, customer and competitor analyses and intelligence, to ensure the portfolio is leading the applicable market needs and expectations
- Value proposition development based on customer and market insights to support multiple customer segments.
- Facilitate pricing (price setting) decisions, margin optimization, rebates, and marketing support
- Manage compliance requirements if applicable.
- Lifecycle management and operational and commercial market readiness, and ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, customer validation, use cases, value propositions, costing/ pricing/quoting materials etc) on time and within budget.
- Support upstream marketing activities (e.g. buyer personas, competitive positioning, market requirements, launch plan) and drive engagement with commercial teams by creating a sales enablement plan.
- Document product requirements, user stories and artifacts to support the product development process
- Write and socialize regional plans for product management, sales enablement and launch.
- Recognised as the single point of contact for workspace products and services in EMEA
- Together with the Strategic partner managers manage relevant partnerships with upstream partners and generate a deep understanding of the partner ecosystems
What we look for in a Product Manager?
- Professional b2b experience
- Knowledge and experience in ICT, AV, IoT, Workplace management or any other strong relevant industry experience.
- Experience with solutions and services associated line of business unit management
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing a portfolio segment, and creating Value Propositions
- Previous product marketing or solution marketing experience strongly preferred, product management experience is a plus
- Ability to impact analyst positioning of our client.
- Ability to credibly speak about the technology, applications, and business outcomes with stakeholders, and represent the business at customers and industry events
- Ability to coordinate with product and software development, partners, engineering and other functions for product and software solution development, road mapping and delivery
- Ability to develop and define strategies for new offerings and make business cases for investments
- Understands business analytics and how to use them to drive decision-making
- Ability to go deep on technology trends, architectural questions, stack control points, roadmaps and managing development lifecycle, using expertise to advise on the combining of solutions and services
- Expert level product lifecycle management and project management skills (i.e., Agile)
- Extensive expertise in all aspects of product management strategy for products, solutions, industries and services
- Company strategy, brand and value proposition, and company culture and attitudes
- Comprehensive insight into the operational side of offering delivery
- Routes to market (e.g. value-added resellers, original equipment manufacturers, distributors)
- Advanced understanding of Product Marketing and Management roles and requirements
- In depth knowledge of key industries and market segments relevant to the organization
- Organisational design, development and growth strategies for global marketing organizations
- Understanding of Business intelligence tools, Web analytics, Social media / measurement / monitoring / community tools
- Best practices and emerging trends related to innovation
- In depth knowledge of regulatory/legal and technology trends
