Our client is fast becoming a leading financial services organization globally. With current offices in London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Hong Kong, it couldn't be a better time to join them. They currently have a highly skilled technology team based Globally and are looking to recruit a Lead or Senior DevOps Engineer. You will join a very successful team of software engineers and will be responsible for driving the DevOps agenda within the organisation. Your focus will be to leverage the technologies within the cloud environment to improve the speed and reliability of our service-based platform.
The client is a fast-growing organisation, we are keen to hire someone who is a motivated self-starter, is adaptable and comfortable working in a small team in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong record of academic achievement, and be an enthusiastic, imaginative, and talented Senior DevOps engineer or leader with strong technical knowledge and have experience of the following:
* Public cloud platforms
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
* Containerisation (Docker)
* Continuous integration tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins)
* Linux with knowledge of various scripting languages
This role may suit an individual who is looking to take the next step up and take lead position in their DevOps strategy moving forward.
You will be working collaboratively with the architecture and software engineering team to:
* Drive the migration of existing code base to Cloud
* Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines and software build process
* Develop and support the infrastructure for our python service-based platform
* Automate the setup of production, test and development environments
* Migrate VM-based workloads into Docker based containers
* Move on-perm services to the cloud, taking advantage of cloud-native technologies
