Enterprise Security Architect

A leading Financial Services organisation (a household name) is looking to hire an exceptional and highly accomplished Enterprise Security Architect.

This is a new role that will be responsible for setting the enterprise security strategy and road map, building security architecture patterns, frameworks, guardrails and standards; and ensuring engagement and collaboration across the business - as well as providing strategic and technical leadership.

Technically strong, in addition to working with developers, a key part of the role will be to interact with stakeholders at the very highest level within the organisation, so strong interpersonal skills are critical as you will be required to communicate security-related concepts in an articulate and confident manner to a wide range of technical and non-technical staff.

One of the many challenges in this role will be to understand and manage risk as well as being commercially aware.

In this role you will be coaching, mentoring and growing the architectural capability and community within the organisation.

You will lead the design of security controls and architecture principles, balancing industry standard methodologies with the risk appetite of the business.

If you are a specialist in security architecture, with a deep and wide technical background across multiple security domains, in particular Application and Cloud Security, ideally from an E2E perspective across horizontal and vertical domains, and across all aspects of architecture and practice, please do get in touch to find out more about this opportunity.

It would be ideal, but not essential, if you were from a Financial Services background as experience of PCI DSS will be particularly relevant.

In addition to comprehensive experience of Cloud Strategy and AWS, it will be beneficial if you are familiar with CICD automation and TOGAF framework.

It's a recruitment cliche to describe a role as 'fantastic' - but this genuinely is: it is an opportunity to design, develop and implement the strategy for the organisation.

Please get in touch as soon as possible to find out more - all communication will be in the strictest confidence in the first instance.
