InterQuest are currently supporting an authorised E-Money Institution, looking for a Compliance Manager to add value in a broad role. As the business is growing, they are looking for motivated compliance or financial crime professionals with strong payments issuing experience in the 2nd or 3rd line of defence. This is a great opportunity to progress your career, being given autonomy to develop the risk and compliance frameworks using your expertise in the area.

Sitting in the second line of defence and covering financial crime, risk and regulatory compliance, the role involves conducting gap analysis and horizon scanning to develop and implement strong policies and procedures. The opportunity will allow you to take responsibility for the assurance function, conducting policy reviews and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Plan to put in place controls as per risk appetite to support business growth. As the business also offer payments services you will gain exposure across these businesses through monitoring and auditing their activities.

The right candidate will have:

* Knowledge of payments issuing: E-Money, digital wallets, open banking or payments services.
* Experience in a second or third line of defence role, undertaking monitoring reviews or audits.
* Excellent regulatory understanding - FCA guidelines and Financial Crime Regulations including MLRs and JMLSG.
* Stakeholder management skills to effectively communicate across the business.
