Project Manager-Estates Strategy Development

Project Manager with experience of working with senior stakeholders, ideally within a higher education strategy or estates context is needed to work with our higher education client on an initial 6 month contract on either a part time or full time basis.

The Project Manager will be tasked with developing strategy around estates projects within space planning, allocation and utilisation working with the Head of Estates and HR.

Project Manager-Estates Strategy Development- Essential experience

  • Solid project management experience with the ability to apply a formal project management methodology to structure, document and deliver a successful project.
  • Ability to identify relevant information and carry out audits/assessments within the clients estates function.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to elicit requirements and interface with senior stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Excellent core project management skills including communication, project planning, developing project documentation, managing project budgets timescales and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic and policy from evidence based information and requirements.

Project Manager-Estates Strategy Development- Desirable experience

  • Experience of working within a higher education environment within a strategy development, policy or estates context.
  • Experience of supporting projects within estates, space planning, space allocation or space utilisation.

This assignment is outside of IR35 and can be part time 3-4 days per week or full time.

Hybrid working with some days on site per week required.
