Our client is an established financial services organisation and is urgently looking for a Project Manager to help and deliver key projects. We are looking for an experienced project manager who has a strong background in delivering large scale projects.

You will ensure delivery of requested outcomes for a multi-million pound change portfolio using various project methods dependent on requirement. In conjunction with leading the team, you will be required to analyse, manage and govern resources to deliver projects on time, on budget and take direct responsibility to negotiate change control revenues and effective communication of project progress.

The client is looking for the successful candidate to establish individual responsibilities within each project and ensure there is clear vertical and horizontal communication throughout the project. Leading a cross-functional team including technical and business resources, the Project Manager role is to successfully lead the project team through the various stages of projects, managing both project risk and complexity.

The job holder will be required to identify and resolve any issues which may impact on the successful delivery of a project, and will be responsible for understanding and addressing any perceived business impacts of project delivery. They will also lead the development of end-to-end project documentation including reports and RAID management.

The crux of the role is to ensure that there is a clear understanding of business requirements and priorities ensuring appropriate IT solutions are identified & delivered in an expedient manner. You will help define the IT Mission, formulate and deploy short, medium and long-term strategic IT Plans that align the IT business model with business needs of the organisation.

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a good understanding of Business Process and any formal project management qualification such as Prince2, ITIL and or Scrum Master will give you a distinct advantage but not essential as they are looking for someone who is willing to learn!
