Purpose of the job

This role sits at the heart of our product and proposition team accountable for the prioritisation and delivery of the roadmap for platform development

Working alongside a Senior Product Manager, Proposition Managers, Customer Experience, Insights and technology teams, you will be working to define, prioritise and deliver value for the Travel Experience Division and its customers.

Responsibilities

* Create, own and execute against your 90-day roadmap tied to the long-term vision and strategy for your product

* Work with squads and the broader product and proposition team to plan, prioritise and deliver value and impact focused product roadmaps and backlogs

* Improve product performance by being obsessed with data and client SLAs

* Drive experimentation within your squads by presenting problems and supporting creative technical thinking in solving

* Be the subject matter expert for your product in presentations, demos and throughout the business

* Demonstrate your stakeholder management skills but forging long lasting relationships with other key departments; customer services, technology, marketing, global account and partnerships teams

* Manage stakeholders and communicate effectively to ensure everyone understands the impact of delivery and go to market approach and the expected value to their business

* Technical expertise and the ability to question, understand, and challenge software implementation decisions and priorities. Be able to articulate technical understanding to business users

* Articulate user stories, lead the sprint planning sessions and groom the backlog of user stories

* Maintain the product catalogue of features and changes

* Monitor industry innovations and in conjunction with cross-functional partners, identify opportunities and continue to update roadmap and strategy

Knowledge, skills and experience required

* 4+ years of demonstrative product ownership or product design experience
* Technical aptitude with ability to communicate effectively with technical resources
* Experience of payment processing technologies preferred
* Experience driving Agile teams and management to decisions
* Analytical mindset, with a data driven approach to problem solving to support decision making
* Ability to see the bigger picture and meticulous in the day to day detail to ensure quality of delivery and alignment to goals and vision

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise workload effectively and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
