The Company
This innovative digital products software house is truly embracing the digital age with their ways of working. They are a young business who are going through an aggressive scale up process and who have recently gone through an impressive second round of Global investment. Due to this scaling up and investment, they have created this new Principal PHP Engineering role.
The Person
They are looking for an experienced Engineer who has solid PHP development experience and someone who can demonstrate they are a real engineering craftsperson. They are looking for strong framework experience in Laravel or Symfony and working with AWS is a plus. You need to be an excellent communicator, mentor and team player and also offer excellent technical authority and experience of modern Agile ways of working.
The Role
You will be working closely with the CTO of the business to deliver a software dashboard product as well as looking at new product development. You will be facing off with Director level stakeholders of the business and will be mentoring a small team of multi-disciplined engineers. You will be able to work very autonomously and work from home when you feel it suits you. This role will also give you the opportunity to build your own small team of Developers over the next few years.
The Package
The client is able to offer a competitive starting salary of up to £90,000, company bon us scheme and unlimited holidays.
