Principle Derivatives Specialist
6 Month Initial Contract (Potential to Extend)

Our multinational client is seeking a Derivatives Specialist to provide subject matter and technical expertise to operations, undertaking various derivative related projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact and offer expert advice for the derivatives operations and other front office teams.
- Recommend mitigation and identify risks posed to the operations.
- Indorse strong internal controls whilst developing and advising the business on best practices, standards and procedures.
- Identify trends, challenges and opportunities and measure performance by defining key indicators.
- Provide supervision of third party providers, including model development/improvement.

Required Skills
- Proven working experience in the investment industry.
- Regulatory reporting
- triOptima / triResolve
- Capable and confident leading a team through complex projects/initiatives.
- Deep understanding of complex investment products (ETD/OTC/Cleared Swaps etc.) including trade processing and lifecycle events as well as trade confirmation, clearing, settlement and reporting.
- Qualified in either accounting/business/economics/finance/math or similar.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
