Operational Risk Manager

Operational Risk Manager- London/Midlands- £50k-£70k

InterQuest are proud to be supporting a well-established specialist lender with the search for an Operational Risk Manager to join their team. This role offers the chance to own the Operational Risk Framework, providing 2^nd line of defence oversight, as well as supporting 1^st Line of Defence activities.

The Role:

• Take the lead, embedding the Operational Risk Framework, implementing policies and procedures whilst ensuring adherence.
• Focus on training and developing the business on Operational Resilience, providing workshops, 1 to 1s and training courses.
• Work with 1^st and 2^nd LOD to provide oversight on deep dive reviews.
• Create reporting packs and present to relevant Board and Committee meetings
• Complete horizon scanning and risk identifying, effectively communicating this to the wider business.

Essential Skills:

• Experience of Operational Risk Management from a Financial Services background
• Experience of risk assessments and thematic reviews
• Knowledge of Mortgage products and relevant Regulations.
