Junior DevOps Engineer - Newcastle

Our Newcastle based client provides software solutions including project management, collaboration, information modelling and management with mobile field operations.

As a Junior Dev Ops Engineer you have a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and exciting environment with a collaborative culture which will help you develop your career.

The Role:

Your roleunderpins much of the development function within the company. You will build pipelines, delivery pipelines and manage our source repositories. You will also maintain our test and development environments.

* You will work closely with Senior Platform Engineers and Software Developers (C# .Net) to automate tasks across their platforms and transform their processes and infrastructure. Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
* Continuously drive improvement with yourself, the team and the department through ways of working with more agility and introducing technologies.
* Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
* Manage performance testing, validation testing and non-production environments for development

You will ideally have base level knowledge in some of the below:

* Software Engineering degree, or relevant commercial experience.
* Software Development experience using C# .Net
* AWS or Azure

You will have the have the ability to pick up new tools and methodologies and have a logical approach to troubleshooting.

Salary up to £35,000, 25 days (increasing to 29 with service) + bank holidays.
