Java Developer - PART REMOTE (UK) - No Sponsorship Provided

We are working with one of our clients in Leeds to find a Java Developer who will be responsible for building high quality applications right from solution design to delivery, for a range of different projects and products.

Responsibilities include:

* Mentoring junior members of the team
* Contributing to the delivery of technical solutions as part of the team
* Helps breaking down requirements into development level tasks
* Using the latest technology and tools to improve the software development process
* Regularly demonstrating work to stakeholders, users and senior leaders

Key Skills/Requirements:

* JavaScript (preferably through JavaScript MVC frameworks)
* Solid experience with Java
* RESTful Web Services
* ORM Frameworks (Hibernate, JPA etc)
* Experience in either developing highly interactive web sites that provide a great user experience or in developing high concurrency, resilient integration solutions.
* Agile software development experience, including source code management using tools such as Git
* Continuous integration and deployment experience

Desirable skills include:

* Development within continuous integration environment (preferably Jenkins or TeamCity, JIRA and GitHub)
* Spring boot
* Client interaction experience, you will be contributing to solutions for clients and be confident in explaining your choices with the customer
