Our client is a well-established and recognised business in the financial services sector, who are looking for a passionate IT technician to join their growing service desk team providing infrastructure support to the business.

We are looking for an experienced IT professional who can support a fast paced and growing infrastructure. You will likely have a background in 2nd line helpdesk tasks or as a network engineer, it'll suit someone who thrives on driving improvements in your area of responsibility and enjoys contributing to a wider team; ultimately your tasks will be to support the team in High Wycombe and occassionally you'll be asked to get involved in helping the London software team.

Responsibilities include running network diagnostics, investigating and resolving incidents and effective ticket management on the Service Desk system including updating of knowledge documents. You will be required to have good knowledge of O365 and experience solving resolutions on Windows 10.

Working with a variety of technologies, the client is looking for the successful candidate to work closely with the business stakeholders and eventually take ownership on small IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility to provide infrastructure support on a Microsoft Windows Server environment. Core skills will include Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Server support, Networking and protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Any Cloud, MCSE, MCTS, and MCITP/ CCNA accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential. The infrastructure is complex and they are currently running and investing in a variety of technologies. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their technical skill set and have the opportunity to work with variety of technologies.
