I am currently sourcing for a skilled IT Support Engineer/System & Network Support Administrator for a leading business in Leeds to support IT Infrastructure within Servers; Networking; MPLS; Firewall; Meraki Wi-Fi; Exchange; Networked Printers; and Backups.

This is a 3 month + contract, inside IR35, paying £220-£250 per day depending on experience

Skills to include :-

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems & Licensing :

* Windows 10
* Windows Server 2012 +

* Hyper-V and VMWare.
* Office 365 / Office 2016
* TCP/IP networking
* Telephone Systems / VOIP

Desirable:-

* ITIL accreditation
* Microsoft SQL 2012
* Sage Line 500 v7 or 1000 v4
* Crystal Reports XI
* Visual Studio v9
* Solid works 2020 Deployment / Updates
* IIS Development using Visual Studio & MVC.
* MCP/MCSE

Technical Support Analyst required - strong technical background (2nd line/3rd line) within an medium sized IT environment with solid experience in desktop support; Windows 2010+ including Active Directory for setting up permissions; Exchange creating mailboxes problem diagnosis and resolution. Additional technical support skills with remote control utilities, basic networking.

This role will be responsible for resolving technical queries from across the business by phone or email up to a second line support level/some third line

Essential is professional individual possessing logical and methodical approaches to problem solving, who can draw on previous experience, while still keeping an open mind on the root cause of any issue. The role is highly technical, so essential is a positive 'can do' attitude to life. You will also need to find the answers to questions using your own initiative or by working as a team. You will be responsible for delivering 'Right First Time' fixes wherever possible - dedicated to assisting internal customers. This role is to be part of a small IT Support team where this is a mixture of BAU and project. Customer service is absolutely key to this position, so a friendly and helpful personality is required to deal with people over the phone, via email and face to face.
