Interim Internal Communications Business Partner
Location - Flexible (UK based, remote working)
Circa £500 per day
3 - 6month contract

IQ Talent Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our key clients a leader in the retail sector to support them with the recruitment of an Internal Communications Business Partner on an interim contract basis

The role is remote during the pandemic and can be UK based, but as a requirement of the position the successful candidate will be required to travel to a specific Hub location such as, Newark, London or Leeds in a day

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver internal communications that are aligned to the company strategy
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic communications programmes across the business, working with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver timely, targeted, creative and effective internal communications
- Lead the development of a communications framework that enables the Executive Committee
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with senior leaders, supporting them to define their communication requirements, providing strategic advice, counsel, and coaching and, when appropriate
- Use formal and informal measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and to help improve future communications
- Manage and lead direct reports, developing, motivating, and inspiring high-performing, strategic internal communications professionals
- Work collaboratively with the wider Internal Communications team to develop, maintain, and review sound governance, processes, tools, and templates that provide a strong framework for the Internal Communications function

Skills & Experience
- Ideal candidates will be from an internal communications background, specifically with a focus on an operational front-line audience, across industries such as retail, utilities, supply chain background
- Previous experience leading the planning, development, delivery, and measurement of internal communications programmes that support cultural and organisational change within large, complex organisations will be highly desirable
- Ideal candidates will have experience delivering internal communications to a non-office-based population with no/limited access to email and online channels
- Successful candidates will be comfortable working with ambiguity and can thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment and able to adapt to evolving business needs
- Experience managing, leading and developing team members to achieve high performance and support the development of an internal communications function will be a distinct advantage
