Our client is a global market leader in their sector and are urgently looking for an Integration Consultant / Manager. The Integration Consultant will be responsible for providing excellent leadership and management of the technology systems functions and core applications improving overall efficiency which include:

Leading and managing the client's middleware systems providing high levels of service integrity, resilience, availability and business continuity matching agreed service levels.

* Manage the technology systems function support and development teams providing guidance and leadership.
* Manage the middleware system administration, technical support and consistency of the middleware solutions.
* Support the development of the three to five year roadmap, aligning with the overall enterprise strategy and direction.

Strong leadership is obviously vital as is an excellent commercial background. You will provide leadership to identify, analyse & communicate business process needs and potential information technology solutions. This role is for someone who can understand their business sector and has a massive desire to achieve. You will demonstrate strong influencing skills and is an ambassador for positive change.

You will be required to strategise how to integrate/ migrate middleware systems into the product development lifecycle and demonstrate a proven track record of not only building solutions that are fit for purpose and influence these solutions to drive optimum business value. You will be responsible for aligning the IT Strategy with business objectives, implementing and managing the IT Strategic initiatives and deliver world-class service to business constituents and external customers.

The crux of the role is to ensure that there is a clear understanding of business requirements and priorities ensuring appropriate IT solutions are identified & delivered in an expedient manner. You will define and own the Middleware Systems, formulate and deploy short, medium and long-term strategic IT Plans that align the IT business model with business needs of the organisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will provide leadership of the responsible technical support teams in line with corporate direction, to the client's business requirements & Technology Strategy. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for leading teams responsible for IBM B2B Integrator (formerly IBM Systems Integrator) and Micorsoft Biztalk and lead and managing the interface landscape between SAP, Biblio, Vista/AWS enterprise landscape, customers, and suppliers. Responsible for leading and managing EDI capabilities between the client and our customers and suppliers.

You will have sound technical knowledge, design vision and the ability to see the big picture. You will have leadership experience managing 3rd Party vendors, people and resources. You will have excellent communication and customer liaison skills.
In terms of experience this role requires someone who has had a similar role ideally designing and implementing middleware solutions, business software applications and engineering innovative improvements to current technology change programmes.
