Infrastructure Operations & Virtualisation Engineer- SC Security Clearance
Infrastructure Operations & Virtualisation Engineer, ideally with current SC Security Clearnce, is needed to work with our government client to provide skills in configuration, installation and reconfiguration of database and related products to optimise performance and implement change.
The Infrastructure Operations & Virtualisation Engineer will be tasked with providing technical advice and influence other teams on the best technical solutions and process improvements.
Infrastructure Operations & Virtualisation Engineer- SC Security Clearance- Essential Skills
- Agile & ITIL Foundation level and VMWare certified with relevant experience within VMWare, VCP and VCAP
- Power Scripting, Programming and scripting across IT Systems operations and building virtual environments
- Ability to translate HLD/LLD to working solutions with knowledge of ITSM Frameworks.
- Practitioner level knowledge of hardware, software and systems being supported (VMWare, HLD/LLD Design, NSX, vSan, vSphere, vROPS, vCD HLD and LLD Design Documentation.
- Capability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data; draft/author professional/technical documents.
- Change and release management experience.
- Ability to undergo security clearance by being a British citizen or dual British national and have been resident in the UK for at least two of the last 5 years.
Infrastructure Operations & Virtualisation Engineer- SC Security Clearance- Desirable Experience
- Experience of working within a secure government environment
- Current SC Security Clearance
The role is outside of IR35 for 6 months with hybrid working, 40% on site.
