An multi-award winning online gaming business is looking for an Incident Manager to head up their brand new team, handling and managing all incidents and alerts across various departments.
You will immediately inherit a team of 4 globally distributed engineers.
This is a growing business where you will need to be adaptable to changes at short notice.

What You'll Do:
Create a 24/7/365 incident capability
Play a hands on role at times - taking incoming trouble calls/emails, troubleshooting the problem & providing resolution
Promote the team internally so it is seen as the go-to for any incidents
Analyse technical issues and collect all necessary technical information for triage.
Collaborate with partners to fully understand problems and to set expectations.
Proactively collaborate with Engineering, Platform and external partners to determine steps toward resolution and prevention of future issues.
Willingness to be "on-call" and work extended or unscheduled hours as needed
All About You:
* Versed in troubleshooting techniques to identify and document root causes of software issues
* Comfortable with using JIRA or similar
* Deep understanding of Incident Management processes
* Ability to pick things up quickly and learn a new sector (if applicable)
* Demonstrates accurate, creative and logical problem-solving skills
* Can handle multiple tasks and prioritise as needed
The aim of this position is to be filled by the end of May, latest. Simple 3 stage interview process.
