IQ Talent Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our key clients in the hospitality and travel sector, supporting them with the recruitment of a HR Advisor on an interim basis for at least 6 months on an FTC.

Their focus is building and delivering an amazing experience for their customers - their employees and line managers. The ideal candidate for the role would have experience working with or in an HR generalist capacity within a shared services organization. The successful candidate should also have strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, outstanding time management and communication skills, a commitment to exceptional customer support, and the ability to build relationships at every level of the organization. This person must be comfortable dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in supporting a variety of HR disciplines.

What is expected of the HR Advisor;

To act as a support adviser on HR policies and processes. Aids employees and supervisors in solving work-related issues; transactional, generalist and specialist queries. Driving the self-service adoption across Hotels and corporate. Analyses data and trends to provides insights to managers and HR Partners. Provides outstanding customer service which contributes to a positive experience for employees, line managers and UK&I HR colleagues and a great Employer brand reputation.

Examples of some of the activities you may expect -

* Provide superior customer service to employees and managers via our customer portal, and other social channels
* Using our Service Now case-management solution to assist employees in a timely manner regarding position management, benefits, compensation, leave of absence, HR policy, ER and procedural questions
* Deliver first line advice and counsel on policy and all Employee Relations across Europe, working with HRBPs and legal counsel as necessary.
* Expertise in Workday as a tool and leverage its capabilities for manager and employee self-service process inquiries
* Support our centralised employee portal; close knowledge gaps by creating, updating and improving knowledge articles to keep information relevant for employee self-service
* Conduct regular analysis to identify Knowledge improvements and drive a greater employee experience
* Liaise effectively and collaboratively with myHR service desk and other support teams to resolve employee queries and improve knowledge
* Maintain an appropriate level of process, program, and policy knowledge in order to assist Employees and Managers
* Proactively identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and collaborate towards an improved and more productive process that enhances the employee and/or manager's experience
* Work transition and System testing support. Provide support on system enhancements and triage access or bug queries
* Ensure the accuracy of the internal Shared Services process documentation
* Provide approval support in Workday for Manager Self Service transactions, including but not limited to; manager transfers, promotions, compensation changes, one-time payments and exits.
* Own data integrity of all Workday employee change transactions by following the outlined peer review/audit process
* Ensure all internal and external compliance standards are maintained by completing work correctly and timely.
* Provide continuous feedback to peers, management, and HR and COE partners about internal employee service trends and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with the HR Enablers office to test new ways of working and to provide feedback/solutions on problem areas

What we look for in a HR Advisor;

Experience in Human Resources environment, systems, terminology and processes.

Technical Skills and Knowledge -

* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant government and corporate guidelines governing employee relations and administration.
* Strong demonstrated proficiency with Workday.
* Act without constant and direct supervision, using own judgement to deal with issues
* Maintain a high level of knowledge pertaining to policy and procedure and communicate knowledge effectively to all personnel when applicable.
* Demonstrates clear and effective verbal and written skills for the purpose of obtaining and conveying information, as well as producing reports.

Decision making responsibilities:

* Acts as escalation point for employees and managers.
* Advises on the outputs of Employee Relations cases such as disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
* Writes communication templates for key HR processes.
