Head of IT Service Delivery - £120,000 + 40% bonus & Benefits

A new senior appointment has emerged with a global investment firm with billions of dollars under management across a diversified set of financial strategies.

Reporting to the CTO, this individual will head up ITSM, Application Support, Infrastructure and End User Support.

The Head of IT Service Delivery is accountable for delivering value-adding processes across all areas of operational IT service. The ideal candidate will have led similar teams in a fast-growth, forward thinking, professional services firm.

Engaging with senior leaders across the IT function to increase the role and value of Service Delivery.

Sponsorship and leadership of the Service Management process & tools and the recommendation and ownership of any necessary improvements to the current ecosystem.

You will be a member of the IT Management leadership team. Work with other members of this team to ensure great customer service, a push for continuous improvement across the team and the support the move of a global operating model.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

* Extensive practical experience in service delivery, client management and management of third parties.
* Extensive working knowledge of various technical environments and business models.
* Deep, practical knowledge of IT service delivery, service continuity, ITIL processes and tools.
* Excellent management and communication skills. Expert in influencing and motivating individuals and teams and used to operating up and down a multi-tiered management structure.
