Fraud Analytics Strategy Manager (Systems & Defence)

I am assisting a UK retail challenger bank with their search for a Fraud Analytics Strategy Manager (Systems & Defence) as they through a significant period of growth. If you're looking for an opportunity to lead a team of Fraud Analysts as they tune fraud defence systems and support strategy across all products and delivery channels within the franchise, then this is the role for you.

You will drive and direct analysts, ensuring that Fraud systems are configured to remain within appetite, that losses are within budget/operational and genuine customer impacts are balanced.

As Fraud Analytics Strategy Manager (Systems & Defence) you will:

* Optimise and monitor performance of all fraud detection and prevention systems and associated models.
* Configure systems to manage fraud risk with budget and appetite.
* Be accountable for model building, definition and management if Fraud loss budget under authority delegated by the budget owner.
* Design, deliver and maintain accurate fraud typology-related MI and reporting that will meet the needs of governance committee.
* SME input to strategy for maintenance, investment and development in fraud defence systems, ensuring that they remain fit for purpose to supper internal business strategy and address external threats.
* SME on Fraud Systems related projects.
* Lead an innovative fraud analytics team who tune application fraud defences to prevent fraud and balance operational impact / genuine customer interventions.
* Produce accurate and relevant application of fraud MI for committees and provide regular fraud loss and monitoring reports.
* Developing, leading and managing a top performing team of fraud analysts to ensure capacity and capability is available to manage fraud risk.

The Fraud Analytics Strategy Manager (Systems & Defence) position is for you if you have:

* Demonstrable experience of manging an operating fraud risk analytics function within UK Banking.
* Proven experience managing Fraud loss within budget using systems, people, process and policy.
* Extensive knowledge of financial crime threats, risks and landscape.
* Demonstrable experience of fraud systems strategy development from concept to implementation.
* Stakeholder engagement experience operating both with Senior Management and as a functional leader with direct report/throughout the company.
