IQ Talent Solutions are delighted to be supporting one of our key clients who are a leader in the retail sector with the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Analyst for a period of 3 months, paying £350 per day inside of IR35 and working remotely with occasional travel to the London office.

The role will include the modelling of tenure and churn performance and supporting with the budgeting and forecasting of the business.

What is expected of the Commercial Finance Analyst?

Commercial Modelling

  • Production and ownership of monthly models which track customer activity
  • Maintaining these customer models and templates and reviewing these with the senior manager
  • Partnering with commercial team in ensuring that inputs to models are delivered on time and that any responses to data questions are delivered in a timely manner.


  • Assisting with the production of the Budget and Short-Term forecasts.

What we look for in a Commercial Finance Analyst?

  • Excellent data and Excel skills including reporting, modelling and analytics using large, complex data sets.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools to extract and manipulate data (SQL, Power BI or similar)
  • Collaborative working style, able to build relationships with stakeholders within the business.
  • Engaging and versatile communication skills
  • Happy to work in a fast paced, reactive commercial environment.
