EMEA IT Portfolio Manager – Watford/Hybrid – Permanent

My client is a Global IT Digital Services company, looking to hire an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to be accountable for the end-to-end life cycle of all activities that are linked with the EMEA IT organisation to manage, deliver, or contribute to.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of end-to-end life cycle of the business’ processes to define EMEA IT departments needs
• Implementing resource management practices within a portfolio management lifecycle
• Extend processes to improve engagement from business end to the senior stakeholders through ServiceNow
• Establishing and managing portfolio governance reviews at appropriate points which will inform of progress, status and required actions from various governance forums
• Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders

Key experience/skills:

• Demonstrable 3 years + experience of Portfolio project management
• Strong understanding of portfolio and resource planning processes, methodologies and techniques
• Proven stakeholder management experience and conflict management skills
• Experience in IT service delivery
• Application of portfolio management knowledge and experience to successfully deliver complex technical and business processes across multiple business functions and locations
• Experience of, or Certified in a Business Application such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, Oracle, Siebel, SAP
• Certification in a recognised project management discipline APMP, PMP, Prince2 etc.
