Director - Asset Management

Central London/Frankfurt

We're currently working with one of the UK's largest Data Centre Provider to recruit a Director of Asset Management, who can be based from either London or Frankfurt.

This role will have two key responsibilities: developing and ensuring execution of strategy, including P&L responsibility for properties within their region; as well as forecasting, operations and reporting. This role is very client focussed, as you will be managing relationships with customers, providing analytical insights to support business decisions at various properties. You will also be actively involved in renewals and expansions, negotiating new leases and proposals - attending construction meetings and ensuring they have appropriate datacentre amenities to support the needs to the market

Key Skills:

* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with relevant asset management experience
* Prior REIT experience an advantage
* Ability to provide leadership to team and indirectly to others
* Strong analytical skills; including the following:

* Comprehending, analysing, and interpreting financial statements, budgets and financial forecast models
* Analysing the financial impact of capital allocation decisions and thinking creatively in regard to maximizing returns.
* Summarizing property and financial performance through evaluation of various data sources including operations and capital expenditures, financial forecasting, job cost accounting, project budgeting, variance analysis and expense reconciliations.

* Ability to comprehend title and legal documentation conveying title, insurance certificates and riders, mortgage and portfolio debt instruments, construction specifications, plans and contracts.
