Digital Product Owner to join our leading retail client based in West Yorkshire.

This is initially for 5 months at a rate of up to £490 per day.

Skills required -

Competent and proactive Product Owner/Product Manager to work across the digital and online technology portfolio

As Product Owner / Product Manager you'll be accountable for :-

- Interpreting high level business need and defining the products and enhancements that can add value
- Managing the relationship and expectations of business stakeholders, and reflecting their priorities in a deliverable roadmap
- Articulating the functional and non-functional requirements within the context of business processes, identifying and engaging all interested parties
- Ensuring your proposals are achievable and fit for purpose, and gain stakeholder agreement
- Leading internal, external and offshore resource to deliver your product vision, including guiding the development, testing, and readiness
for operational support, and assisting users prepare for the launch of new features and capabilities.
- This requires a self-motivated individual who can work to pace and strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Requires an individual who can deliver value over time and see how deliver value over time
- Ability to appreciate opportunities and constraints within technology; ability to understand/ have appreciation of architecture and challenges

Experienced required: -

- You'll need to be an independent worker that can proactively drive your own agenda in a complex organisation
- Experience of designing and delivering solutions that meet your customer requirements yet fit with a wider business vision
- Strong influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels, working with senior stakeholders and business subject matter
experts to understand the business strategy and goals
- Comfortable facilitating cross-functional working groups to model business scenarios and operational business processes, to understand
the challenges and opportunities within large and complex change initiatives
- Defining valuable technology features, including the elaboration of User stories and Acceptance criteria
- Working with Solution Architects and Software vendors, to understand system capability and constraints, to come up with innovative ways
to face business challenges, and translate into prioritised action plans
- Knowledge generation and sharing with tools such as Confluence
- Agile requirements management with tools such as Jira
- Retail / Online /Ecommerce experience highly desirable
