An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced DevOps Engineer with production grade Kubernetes experience and a background with one of the big 3 environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) to join a growing team and work autonomously, taking ownership of the role.
The successful candidate will be collaborating with development teams throughout the entire lifecycle of applications and microservices (inception & design, development, deployment, operations, and of course refinement) as the business breaks up their monolithic platform and creates a winning DevOps culture. The successful candidate will be adding value in the following areas:
* Designing, building & optimizing applications containerization and orchestration with Docker & Kubernetes.
* Deploying in-house apps to public cloud paying particular attention to automation and hardening.
* Supporting traditional Linux systems administration tasks.
This position requires you to work closely with senior members of the business including Infrastructure Management, IT Director and the Product Teams in areas such as researching new technologies, application development, resolving production bottlenecks, ensuring compliance and providing technical design authority to the wider business.
The tech stack is vast however the only mandatory requirements are Kubernetes and cloud .
