Unique opportunity for a DevOps Engineer with expert knowledge of Azure to join a growing ecommerce business in Stockport.
The company have been trading for over 10 years, they employ over 1000 people and their turnover is more than £200m, so they're already very well established within the industry but have ambitions to grow further and become a £1bn turnover business.
To enable this growth they're looking to scale their existing team and require an experienced DevOps Engineer to oversee the development and operation of their cloud infrastructure, as well as providing internal consultancy related to Azure best practice, governance, monitoring, security, resilience, auto-scaling, and cost.
As a DevOps Engineer you'd be responsible for playing a key role in shaping the new culture, the plan is to build multi-disciplinary agile teams who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics so you can expect to work alongside product owners, delivery managers, user researchers and software engineers that are all passionate about using quality practices and building an environment to be proud of.
* Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* CI/CD (Jenkins)
* Automation frameworks (Chef, Puppet)
The money is good too - up to £50k for the right person along with company benefits including the option to regularly work from home.
