Fantastic opportunity for a Development Team Lead to join one of Manchester's biggest technology employers.
The company are based in the city centre and have a software engineering department of well over 350 people that are responsible for delivering an unrivalled online experience to more than 35 million customers, so this is an opportunity to work at an enterprise scale.
The role sits within their Core Systems team that is responsible for developing a growing number of business-critical systems and services that are housed on a Linux operating system and built primarily around open source technologies.
As a Development Team Lead, you'd personally be responsible for facilitating delivery, removing blockers, influencing technical direction and generally getting the best out of the team.
The right candidate will be fast tracked to a Development Manager position and given the opportunity to lead multiple teams.
* Background as a hands-on developer (Preferably Go or Erlang)
* Experience leading high performing software development teams
* Comfortable working in a fast paced and delivery focused environment
* Excellent soft skills including stakeholder management experience
In return they're looking to offer a starting salary of up to £70k plus benefits including £5k car allowance, 10% annual bonus, company pension and plenty more.
