has arisen at an Experience Design & Technology studio within a remarkable full service advertising agency. The hub is awesome, a team of 70 specialists in across UX, Design and Motion, Development & Technology - imagining, making and growing digital products and services.

They are seeking out a Design Lead / Interactive Art director who wants to take a key role in the creative digital output of these experiences and comms, working with some great clients, and become part of this exciting, evolving part of the agency. Whether it's designing UI and UX for a large telcoms company, ecommerce platform design for a leading food fast food brand, or creating human-centred, frictionless and lovable experiences following your principles of Emotive Design, your role will be to guide and inspire, imagine and craft.

The role entails:

● Being able to lead the creative and design output of digital projects (or the digital components of a integrated project) across digital advertising, motion, websites and apps, as well as other interactive experiences.

● Understanding what makes amazing digital experiences and being able to evangelise this in context to a project to the wider team.

● Playing an essential role across the partnership, contributing to the conception and design of beautiful digital centric work. You'll bring not only creative thought and insights to the table but also an in depth experience and knowledge of our craft and how to output accordingly to meet the fine balance between time and quality - owning the project from brief to final output.

● Approaching every brief with fresh eyes. Avoiding familiar solutions, you question everything and use your intuition and experience to generate exciting, useful, and relevant ideas across all existing and emerging platforms.

● Contributing confidently on process and techniques to get the work done and provide timings for projects you are involved in and then taking accountability for how that project and the teams working on its delivery.

● Being able to come up with ideas and direction for designers work according to a required specification including concept integrity, visual quality, grid structure, file size, duration, supported devices, template, guidelines etc, as necessary.

● Working into the Interactive Creative Director or other Creative Directors, with creative teams where applicable to concept, steer and direct not only the foundations of great work on digital projects, but then direct, and steer the production of your project, seeing it through to final output. Projects include, but aren't not limited to responsive site design, apps, games and other interface design, as well as online advertising and motion content.

● Offering valid input, insights and solutions to a creative or technical challenge within your projects.

● Always thinking about the user or the viewer. Appreciating the experience as well as the visual execution is essential

● Collaborating with the UX and technical teams to incorporate new and emerging technologies, principles and methodologies where needed.

● Being able to work on multiple projects concurrently, as required, without impacting the quality of the deliverable.

● Being able to understand briefs and instructions, highlighting missing information or areas where further clarification is required

● Keeping up to date with current design trends and industry best practice methods.

● Pro-active communication and responsibility on project progress to the team and your boss.

● Willingness to learn and develop skills suitable to make the best work you can.

● Oversee and guide more junior members of the team.

● Being hands on with the craft to make great work, but you are comfortable delegating the craft through guiding and directing.
