I am assisting one of my retail Challenger Banking clients with their search for a Data Scientist (Credit Risk)

What will make you right for the Data Scientist (Credit Risk) role?

You will be a technical specialist using Data Science in the development, testing and implementation of predictive models, applying data science techniques to model customer behaviour to drive profit and loss signature and help inform business decisions.
Engage with stakeholders as you gather requirements of commercial / credit risk problems and translate to analytical solutions
Translate output of analytical solutions to stakeholders into value-add business insight
Keep abreast of Data Science innovation to ensure the techniques used are the most appropriate and the tools are best suited for the requirements.
Be innovative. Explore emerging and innovative sources of techniques, data and implementation routes.

Apply for the Data Scientist (Credit Risk) position if you have:

Demonstrable knowledge of OpenSource / Cloud for predictive modelling.
Basic SAS (data manipulation)
Advanced understanding of data science modelling techniques / predictive modelling.
Ability to influence stakeholders
Background in maths/stats, computer science.
Knowledge of profit / loss drivers in banking (retail) and understanding of credit risk principles and application.
