This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and successful bank in Scotland who are looking to expand their team. They are a business who strive to help their customers do the most with their money and they are looking to bring onboard enthusiastic data engineers to help them establish data analytics as a backbone of their business. The role is all about being hands-on and technical, helping build advanced decisioning products to benefit the customers.
The role itself will focus on working on impairment and collections forecasts, to allow you to provide analysis of the lending portfolios and what it means for the long-term impairment forecasts. You will work closely with different stakeholders within the business to provide high quality, accurate, and insightful analysis. You will work closely with the wider credit risk teams, interacting with the stress testing team, credit risk modelling, second line risk, and the finance team.
They are looking for an individual who has:
- Skilled in SAS
- Experience working in financial services within credit risk.
- Strong quantitative background within modelling or analytics
- Knowledge of credit risk and banking regulations (IFRS 9 and ICAAP is beneficial)
