Credit Risk Analyst - Challenger Bank
We are currently assisting a challenger bank client in expanding its presence in the UK market. As a crucial step in this growth, they are actively seeking to strengthen their centralised analytical function with the addition of a Credit Risk Analyst.
In this role, you will take on the responsibility of generating analytics to assist with building and delivering comprehensive credit risk reports and models. Your active involvement in reporting, monitoring, and providing valuable insights on the portfolio will contribute to the enhancement of acquisition and portfolio management strategies. The primary objective is to optimise the risk-reward equilibrium, drive profitability, and uphold a commitment to fair customer treatment, competitive pricing, and an outstanding customer experience.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit Risk Analytics, with a preference for expertise in secured lending.
Working knowledge of credit risk models and scorecard.
Experience within secured lending is strongly preferred.
Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of lending products.
Extensive proficiency in SQL, R or Python.
