Control Assurance Manager - Manchester-London

InterQuest are currently supporting a rapidly growing retail banking client in identifying a Controls Assurance Manager to join the Operational risk function of the bank. You would be responsible for testing both the design and performance of controls, this is key to being able to understand where there may be gaps and vulnerabilities in the management of the banks operational risk.

Alongside this you would support and lead a team of Assurance Analysts, ensuring timely and effective reporting / escalation to key stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across control assurance processes and the wider control environment.

This would be a hybrid working role to be based in either Manchester or London.

Responsibilities would include:
- Ownership and oversight / challenge of both the Customer Assurance Testing Plan and the Control Assurance Actions Tracker maintained within the team.
- Conducting regular QA reviews across control assurance outputs, with coaching / feedback provided where appropriate.
- Completion of ongoing analysis, oversight and reporting of control assurance relating to management information

To be considered you would need:
